2.3 Testing Applicants for Employment

MIT Talent Acquisition is responsible for the development and implementation of all tests used in the evaluation and selection of applicants for non-academic positions at the Institute. Because testing procedures are subject to federal regulations, individual supervisors are not authorized to administer tests. Unusual circumstances should be discussed with the appropriate Human Resources Officer.

In accordance with Massachusetts State Law, the Institute does not require or administer lie detector testing as a condition of employment.
