This page was last updated more than five years ago. See the update history page for more information.

The activities and views of MIT students, faculty, and staff attract the interest and attention of the academic and professional communities and of the general public. Those who speak for the Institute or provide information concerning its programs must always be conscious of the need to present information in a manner that will communicate most accurately and effectively the Institute's programs and objectives and to avoid possible misunderstanding or conflict. Faculty and staff members are urged to coordinate with the MIT News Office on any matter of public information or any public statements.
